Let’s face it. We can’t hide from it, we all get disappointed. How we cope when we are disappointed is a whole other ball game.
Sometimes I feel like I want to close up and withdraw. You know, isolate myself. But I have found, if I do that I just perseverate on the issue. Now, I dig deep into his word to find peace and comfort. Jesus never promised us an easy life. In fact he said we would have many trials and sorrows (John 16:33) (NIV). Maybe you’re going through something right now. If you are there is hope. I hope you find some encouragement in the following verses.
